Marty Hansberger – Sales Manager | (909) 982-1553 x304, email Marty has been with HRC for 14 years. Marty started his professional life spending 10 years with the phone company, which he credits his people skills to. While still there he picked up a second job first with Rancho and then with Allied – both entailed learning to drive trucks. He finally took the plunge and fully transitioned over to our industry driving trucks, doing sales, and dispatching. From Allied he went to Owl Rock and from there he came to HRC. Marty believes he truly is an anomaly – many people end up in our industry for one reason or another but looking back Marty believes he is exactly where he thought he would be and that he made a conscious choice to be here. Marty is kind, genuine, and has a propensity for wearing cowboy boots. He would also like people to know he may seem aloof but he is really just thinking hard and his door is always open. Marty is also considering picking up driving trucks again to put his daughter through college. Brian Walker – Inside Sales | (909) 982-1553 x316, email Bio forthcoming... Kirk DeMichele – Global Accounts | (909) 982-1553 x343, email Kirk comes to us as an industry professional and has spent most of his professional life in it. He started out in testing labs in the late ‘80s and then moved to Owl Rock as a quality control technician and then Pasadena sales representative. He then moved to Roberstons in ’92 and in had a short stint at High Grade before joining our team this year. Kirk is married to his high-school sweetheart Suzanne who is a retired model – his family is completed by two Boxers. Kirk is an avid outdoorsmen enjoying mountain biking – Kirk is hoping to recover from a recent injury and get back on his bike shortly. Kirk brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and has so much to offer HRC and the team – truly a legend in the industry. Tom Maher – Riverside County | (909) 373-5896, email Tom comes to HRC from restaurant management and has been a part of the team for almost two years now. Allegedly Tom graduated from Cal State University San Bernardino where he majored in Business. Tom recently had a territory reassignment and is diligently working on getting that area mastered. Tom grew up locally in Redlands – but found himself moving a lot since he was a “military brat.” Tom is a sports enthusiast, poker buff, and was #1 in the golf power rankings at HRC but swiftly fell to #2 after collapsing on the final hole of the two man playoff. Tom also just recently became engaged to his long time girlfriend Agata. Tom is a smart, young, go-getter that keeps the team fired up and moving forward. Patrick Aleman – Los Angeles County | (909) 982-1553 x340, email Patrick joined the team around the same time as Tom coming to us from outside sales in the sports products industry. Patrick graduated from Brigham Young University and is a big physical fitness buff. Patrick worked as a personal trainer, competes in triathalons, and can be found on the local golf courses with his dad and brothers on the weekends. Patrick is also very fond of the outdoors and spends a week a year at Lake Powell. Patrick is a friendly, outgoing asset to the team. Jeremy Berg – Victor Valley | (760) 246-7062, email Jeremy came to HRC as an industry professional from Dye & Browning. Jeremy lives in Crestline and loves the area – he is our mountain salesman. He has been with HRC for about a year and a half. Jeremy is an avid rock hound and even tumbles/polishes his own rocks. Jeremy is happily married and they enjoy teaching Sunday school at their church. They also enjoy taking trips to collect unique stuff. Jeremy brings industry and customer knowledge to the table and is highly motivated and driven. Ross Morrison – Antelope Valley | (661) 533-1012, email Ross is one of the Costco recruits that found himself dispatching in Palmdale and then transitioned into sales. Ross is also a “military brat” who moved a lot, but now finds himself a permanent Southern California inhabitant. Ross is married and has two little kids and just recently moved to Rosemond. Ross is highly competitive and brings that drive to the team encouraging everyone to work hard and succeed. John Rogers – Orange County | (949) 653-8843, email John has been with HRC for 10 years and also comes to us from Owl Rock where he worked with Marty, and where Marty admired that there wasn’t a task John wouldn’t take on. From Owl Rock John went to Reed Thomas Contracting where Marty ran into him – John expressed that he missed our industry. HRC saw John as a great opportunity since he was living in Orange County a market we hadn’t tapped into yet – John started out dispatching, and when we opened our Irvine plant John was ready to hit the marketplace running. John has been married for many years to his wife Sabrina and they have two grown children. John is an avid golfer, workout enthusiast, and loves boating on the Colorado River. One of John’s favorite pastimes is Motocross and every year he enjoys taking customers to the Motocross in Anaheim. John is a true believer in HRC, and a nicer more congenial person you will never meet. Dave DeMichele – Mentor | (909) 982-1553, email Dave is the latest addition to the team holding the title of mentor. He has been in the industry for over 40 years from driver to general manager and everything in-between – he has also worked for family owned to multi national companies. He comes most recently from High Grade to HRC. Dave is well respected by both industry peers and customers. He is a huge baseball fan – he grew up in the Midwest then moved locally and was a high school baseball star and went on to play travel ball for the United States Air Force. Dave has also been happily married for many years. He is very excited about the opportunity to share his wealth of experience and knowledge to the next generation. We’re so excited to have him and can’t wait to see what he has to offer.
