SINCE 1937

Established during the Great Depression of 1937 by Otha and Ethel Holliday, Holliday Rock has been a consistent player in the construction market of Southern California for more than 85 years. It stands as one of the largest independent manufacturers of aggregate, hot mix asphalt, and ready-mix concrete in the US. Despite the ongoing challenges and fierce competition of the industry, three generations of the Holliday family have successfully prospered and grown under the banner of Holliday Rock.

INDEPENDENT

With the fluctuating market conditions, the construction material industry has witnessed extensive consolidation over the years, wherein numerous independently owned suppliers were bought by larger companies, including foreign corporations, during both prosperous and recessive times. However, Holliday has proudly maintained its roots, holding onto its heritage as a 100% family owned and operated business.
